The story of his life has previously starred in a Netflix movie called "Ronnie Coleman: The King," in which he is seen walking on crutches around his three four-year-old children, struggling to breathe and stand on his own.

He said his health problems stemmed from a number of surgeries he had to undergo in his back and waist.

Doctors claim that the injuries are of course due to wear and tear of the body and damage to all systems following long years of intense training.

"I get up in the morning, and you know, it takes me a minute just to get up and get started," he says, "I'm already getting used to it."

At the beginning of his career he was a police officer, when one of his friends from the police offered him to participate in the "Mr. Texas" contest, which would give him a free subscription to a gym.

Slowly he became addicted to training and bodybuilding, and did not stop despite back pain and problems.

He himself said that he won quite a few competitions when he suffered from pain and herniated discs.

Now, following a series of surgeries, he is suffering from severe problems and has lost sensation in his legs.

One of the surgeries was to treat four vertebrae that had broken in his back, following which he began to use strong painkillers, which are intended for cancer patients.

"How much it hurts. From 0 to 10," he is asked in the film.

"Usually 9 or 10. In shows it was 12 or 13. It's an unbearable pain. Nowadays when I perform in front of people I just sit, and people are photographed next to me."

He previously said that the surgeries he underwent cost him about $ 2 million.

However, he remains optimistic, and in fact, in new videos from recent times he shows that he continues to train his legs despite the pain.

"I miss it," he says, "I still have strength left."
