Chelsea have announced the departure of coach Petr Cech at the end of this month.
The Czech Petr Cech, who has held the position of technical advisor to the first team at Chelsea FC since 2019, said in statements carried by the club’s official website: “I am proud to play this role within Chelsea over the past years, but I feel that the time is right to step down with the presence of a new owner of the club, who I am confident in his success. Cech became the third important name to leave Chelsea after club president Bruce Buck and contracting director Marina Granovskaya.
