Do not forget to admit.
Eran Zehavi, who returned for a second term at Maccabi Tel Aviv after six years abroad, posted a post today (Monday) with a special message for Botafogo and his fans, after refusing their offer to sign for the Brazilian club.
"I want to thank all the Botafogo fans who showed me love and respect during this time," Zehavi began.
"I really thought about coming and playing for your team but I made the good decisions for me and my family and the right thing was to go home."
The striker added: "I want to thank John Texture and Andre Mazuko for all the efforts they made. I am sure that with these guys, Botafogo has a wonderful future! Good luck to everyone, I will be your fan from Israel."

As you may recall, Zehavi had tempting offers from both the yellow club and the Brazilian luxury team, which was even willing to make him the second highest earner in the established league, but he eventually chose to return to Israel and the club from which he spent his second term abroad.
