Julian Nagelsmann apparently wants a real leader for Bayern's defence.
Three players are eligible.
Munich - Bayern Munich.
is in turbo transfer mode.
With Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch and Sadio Mané, three newcomers have already been confirmed at the end of June.
But that might not be the end of the road.
“We have ideas,” suggested a grinning Brazzo at the Mané presentation.
Of course, he did not reveal what or who he meant by that.
"We're keeping an eye on the market," he said.
As the Munich
evening newspaper
claims to have learned, coach Julian Nagelsmann would still like a central defender.

It was actually said that Bayern wanted to compensate for the departure of Niklas Süle to BVB with an internal solution: Benjamin Pavard should get his desired position in the center, Mazraoui was signed for the right flank.
There may have been a rethink on this point.

Experts and fans have repeatedly criticized the lack of a communicator and leading player in the Bayern defense.
Especially in the second half of the season, the team revealed difficulties in defensive coordination, which Nagelsmann also admitted.
Personalities can only be changed to a certain extent.
FC Bayern: Three candidates for central defense
After the departure of David Alaba, Niklas Süle was most likely to have that leadership role.
Neither Dayot Upamecano nor Lucas Hernandez nor Benjamin Pavard are known as speakers, Tanguy Nianzou is still too young anyway.
Therefore, according to the report, three candidates from Serie A are suitable for Bayern: Gleison Bremer (25), Kalidou Koulibaly (31) and Matthijs de Ligt (22).

De Ligt is currently under contract with Juventus Turin, apparently wants to leave and would probably cost around 70 to 80 million euros – which FC Bayern will almost certainly not spend.
The other two are more realistic: The Brazilian Bremer played an outstanding season for FC Torino and was voted the best central defender in the league.
However, he is said to have already agreed on a change with Inter Milan.

Koulibaly has been an absolute institution at SSC Napoli for years, and his contract expires next year.
At the age of 31, however, he would only be an investment in the future to a limited extent.
Bayern still have a good two months left - maybe Salihamdzic is aiming for a completely different player.
Striker Sasa Kalajdzic should no longer be an issue.
