According to a publication in "The Third Eye", the former prime minister's son sold the gift on the Yad2 website under a false name • On behalf of Yair Netanyahu, it was stated:

Yair Netanyahu sold a Barcelona shirt, which his father received in 2013 while he was prime minister, it was reported today (Tuesday) on the "Third Eye" website.

According to the publication, during the Spanish Peace Tour's "Peace Tour" campaign, the stars met with Netanyahu at the home of then-President Shimon Peres, and the team's president Sandro Rossi gave them both a special football shirt produced by the club specifically for the event - entitled "Peace Tour".

The amount of special t-shirts printed was small, but according to The Seventh Eye, one of these appeared on the Yad2 website several years ago.

The seller, who identified himself as "Boaz", demanded NIS 200 in return, and the phone number that appeared was the same as that of Netanyahu's son, Yair.

On behalf of Yair Netanyahu, it was stated in response to the publication: "It was not and was not created. Tired of the media's crazy and hypocritical pursuit of the Netanyahu family."

Later, Ofer Golan, the Likud's spokesman, denied the allegations on behalf of Yair Netanyahu: "The issue is denied and the response is valid for any shirt, and in any measure."
