Hapoel Beer Sheva has agreed with Hapoel Tel Aviv on the acquisition of Shai Elias.
The 23-year-old midfielder had a € 800,000 release clause, the trophy holder's first offer was for half that amount, but after later offering € 600,000, the parties are now close to closing on a € 700,000 fee for Elias.
Hapoel Beer Sheva has not yet reached an agreement with the player himself regarding the terms of the salary, but it does not seem that this will prevent the deal from going into effect, after the aforementioned clubs agreed on the transfer fee.
Elias is expected to sign for three years at a club from the Negev capital.

As written at the beginning of the month, Elias was included among three players that Hapoel Tel Aviv put on the shelf as part of the budget calculations for the upcoming season.
The other two are Doron Leidner and Osher Davida, with the Reds' goal being to sell two of the three overseas.
