Maccabi Tel Aviv continues its signing campaign and does not forget to woo the Israeli staff as well, when this morning it added Rafi Manko to the team.
The 28-year-old forward, who won the championship with Hapoel Holon last season, was looking for a new challenge and joined the Yellows as a second player to come from the Purples this summer after Guy Pnini.
"I am happy. I have seen Maccabi play in the Euroleague for so many years and the hall is full of all the great energies that the crowd brings. I am just waiting and want it to start already," Manco said after the signing.
Oded Katash, who coached him at Hapoel Eilat, added: "Rafi brings a lot of energy and game wisdom. He is a player who works hard, has made progress every year and comes to us at Maccabi when he is at his peak. He is mature, at the right age and with the right confidence."
