Italian club Spezia announced the dispensation of Italian coach Thiago Motta.
The club stated on its official website that Mota's contract had been terminated by mutual consent between him and the team management, and his compatriot coach Luca Guti, the former coach of the Udinese team, would be appointed as a replacement for Mota.
Motta contributed with Spezia to the team's survival in the ranks of the first division clubs in the Italian league.
