Syria's junior football team lost to its Jordanian counterpart today, by a goal, in their match in the semi-finals of the West Asian Championship held in Jordan, with its victory.
Our team qualified for the semi-finals by leading its group in the first round with 9 points from three victories, as it beat Lebanon with a goal to none after it opened the tournament by defeating Palestine with two goals to one before concluding this round with a victory over Kuwait 5-0.
It is noteworthy that the final match of the tournament will bring together the Jordanian team, the day after tomorrow, with the Lebanese team, which qualified earlier today by defeating its Iraqi counterpart, with a goal without a response, in the semi-finals.
