Training in Lublin: The Israeli team has shifted gears Israel today

After a journey that lasted 12 hours, including a two-hour delay at Ben Gurion Airport, Guy Goodes' team managed to hold its first training ahead of the game against the Poles this coming Thursday.


Tonight (Tuesday), the Israeli team held its first training session in Lublin ahead of Thursday's game against the local team as part of the third window of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers.

The team arrived in Lublin after a 12-hour journey, including a two-hour delay at Ben Gurion Airport and another two-hour drive from Warsaw. Tomorrow morning the team will hold a tour and ceremony at the Majdanek extermination camp, which is 8 km from the hotel.

The squad now has 14 players and tomorrow evening coach Guy Goodes and his team will announce who will be the 12th to dress for the game.
