The Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, 47th in the world, quietly qualified for the second round of Wimbledon on Tuesday by dominating the Czech Zdenek Kolar (119th) 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 in 1h33.
At 26, the Nîmes will try to do better than last year when he was eliminated in the second round by Marin Cilic after going through the qualifications.
A year later, he entered directly into the main draw and this time it is the American Jenson Brooksby (34th) who will stand on the other side of the net.
