Israeli youth continues to bring honor:
A day after the soccer team qualified for the European Under-19 Championship final, another achievement came today (Wednesday), when Moshe Patna won the bronze medal at the European Under-20 Wrestling Championship, held in Rome, Italy.
Fanta, who immigrated to Israel with his family from Ethiopia in 2006, came to compete for third place in the weight category up to 60 kg in the Greco-Roman style, against the Bulgarian Borislav Krismirov and had no trouble beating him 1: 6.
Earlier, Panta defeated a Portuguese opponent in the first round 0: 8, and in the quarterfinals he defeated in a close battle 5: 7 over the Macedonian Vitaly Ariominko, but was stopped in the semifinals against the Georgian Dmitry Kochidze who defeated him 9: 0.
In the same championship, Sean Nedorjin (up to 67 kg) finished in fifth place after losing a battle for the bronze medal to Kenyan Abduljid Azeri 6: 1.
