Competition and excitement in the Syrian MTN Championship for speed racing and drifting

The Syrian Automobile Club announced the results of the first round of the Syrian MTN Championship for speed racing and drifting, which was held recently for the first time at night and under the floodlights on the club's circuit in Sednaya in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and in the presence of a large audience.

The round witnessed friendly competitions between the contestants, indicating the arrival of a hot season as a result of the great work done by the contestants on their cars, so the performance was higher and the competition more exciting. .

The first sprint race for the modified commercial production category was topped by the contestant Anas Qawadry with a time of 1.04.86 d, followed by Moaz Mahaini with a time of 1.06.74 d, then Muhannad Al-Ghussein with a time of 1.08.08 d, Al-Mughirah Qabbani with a time of 1.08.18 d and Muhammad Al-Ra’i with a time of 1.09.56 d.

The contestant Mazen Al-Najjar topped the speed race for the category of commercial production of unmodified cars, recording 1.12.17 d, followed by the runner Zain Al-Abidin with a time of 1.13.20 d, then Hisham Tohme with a time of 1.13.90 d, Moaz Qadri with a time of 1.15.51 d, and Ashraf Qadri with a time of 1.15.80 d.

In the speed challenge race, the contestant Muhammad Al-Kasim topped the list with a time of 1.22.50 d. The contestant Diaa Qais came in second with a time of 1.23.10 d, and Yazan Salloum came third with a time of 1.32.51 d.

The round witnessed the victory of the racer Iyad Afghani in the first drift race with 291 points, followed by the racer Ahmed Al-Najjar with 290 points and then the racer Amer Sukkarieh with 150 points.

The first-round trophies were distributed among the contestants Zaher Dahkul (first category and front-wheel drive.. commercial), Rabie Zabadani (category 9), Mazen Al-Najjar (category 8), Rabih Zabadani (front pull), Muhammad al-Kasim (speed challenge) and Muhammad al-Rai (new stars).
