Contract hiccup: Serge Gnabry is threatened with a grandstand seat

Serge Gnabry could also feel this way soon - in the stands.
Munich – FC Bayern's transfer summer is not losing momentum.
The next posse could now follow the ongoing theater around Lewandowski.
If Bayern officials have their way, Serge Gnabry should extend his contract with the record champions as soon as possible.
If the German national player refuses to sign, it is rumored that Säbener Straße will banish Gnabry to the stands for a year.
Bayern Munich: Gnabry has three options
Serge Gnabry - at almost 27 years of age as a footballer - may be facing the biggest contract of his career.
However, it seems questionable whether he will sign this with FC Bayern.
Gnabry has had an offer from Hasan Salihamidžić to extend his contract for some time and the winger does not seem to be averse to it either, but not everything that glitters is gold in Munich these days.
Like Robert Lewandowski, Gnabry is missing one thing at Bayern: emotionality.
But the sports director has already announced that he wants to "deepen again" the talks.
If the lack of emotionality cannot be compensated for by the in-depth discussions – deeper talks are probably equated with a higher salary – a move to the island should possibly help Gnabry.
The English record champions Manchester United are said to be interested and would thus lure the Arsenal London-trained winger back into the Premier League.
However, United would have to put a decent fee on the table for this, because Gnabry's contract with FCB runs for another year.
A contract year, which the offensive man would also be willing to fulfill in order to then go his way free of charge.

If Gnabry decides to spend another year in the Säbener Straße oasis of well-being, but against extending his contract, the decision-makers are unwilling to keep the right winger in shape for another club.
In concrete terms, that would mean: no stakes and spectator roles in the stands.
Gnabry, for whom regular appearances with regard to the Winter World Cup in Qatar would be important, will probably not let himself be put under pressure.
He knows too well the mechanisms that would set in motion in the event of a defeat without his participation.
Then FC Bayern will quickly become FC Hollywood and the calls for Serge Gnabry in the starting XI would be unmistakable.
Quite apart from what coach Julian Nagelsmann would think of letting one of his best offensive weapons stew in the stands.
