In the pipes for several days, the signing of Xavi Simons at PSV Eindhoven was formalized late on Tuesday evening.
But, when he was expected to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain before signing on loan with the Dutch club, the 19-year-old striker, out of contract in Paris, has signed directly until 2027. A slight surprise which induces a specificity in the transaction.
Indeed, according to our information, a buyout option has been negotiated in favor of PSG, giving the Parisian club the possibility of taking over the player if it wishes at some point.
There is no indication that this will happen, however, but it is one of the conditions negotiated in the transaction.
