Novak Djokovic is aiming for his seventh title at Wimbledon. Along the way he had little trouble against Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis - unlike top talent Emma Raducanu against Caroline Garcia.

20-time Grand Slam tournament winner Novak Djoković has easily reached the third round at Wimbledon.

The number one seeded Serb won 6: 1, 6: 4, 6: 2 against the Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis in two hours and had significantly less trouble than in the four-set win over the South Korean Kwon Soon Woo at the start.

Djoković now meets his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic.

Djokovic is aiming for his seventh Wimbledon title.

He is third in the world rankings because Daniil Medvedev is missing after the exclusion of Russian tennis professionals because of Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine, as is the injured Alexander Zverev from Hamburg.

Emma Raducanu's title hopes were dashed on Center Court by France's Caroline Garcia, who lost 6-3, 6-3 in the second round.

The 19-year-old Briton, who caused a stir with her triumph at the US Open last year, didn't play badly but in the end could not counter Garcia.

Last year, at the age of 18, Raducanu had reached the fourth round with a wildcard at the All England Club.

Garcia, a former top 10 player, dominated the first set and unsettled 10th seed Raducanu with her aggressive shots.

She continued her rush in the second set while Raducanu faltered despite overwhelming crowd support.

Garcia eventually won her seventh straight match after capturing her first title in three years in Bad Homburg last week.
