Maccabi Tel Aviv continues with the massive changes in its squad and today (Wednesday) the Yellows announced their seventh signing this summer: Lorenzo Brown, the coordinator who played with Kazan in the Euroleague until the war in Ukraine, signed for two years with Oded Katash's team and thickened the back line after Scotty Wilbkin left.
Brown is already the sixth signing in the yellow after Oded Katash's team earlier added Darren Hilliard, Austin Hollins, Alex Poiters, Bonzi Coulson, Rafi Manco and Guy Pnini.
"I am excited to join the Maccabi Tel Aviv family," Brown said after the signing.
Coach Oded Katash added: "Lorenzo is a tough player, a leader and has excellent delivery ability. He has very good decision making and I have no doubt he will feel comfortable with our method of play."

Brown (31, 1.96) a 2013 graduate of North Carolina State University was selected 52nd in the 2013 draft by Minnesota.
He played little in Philadelphia in the 2013/14 season and spent most of the season in the Development League.
He also spent his second season between the Development League and the NBA this time in Minnesota, as did the 2015/16 season in the Phoenix uniform.
In his first seasons in Europe he twice failed medical tests in Venice and Kazan.
Brown first left the United States for three months at the end of 2016 for China, but returned the following season to the NBA for Toronto, played concurrently in the Development League and was the MVP of the season.
In the 2018/19 season he played 26 games in the championship-winning Raptors uniform, but was released and finished the season in China.
He arrived in Europe in the summer of 2019 when he signed for the Red Star, and a season later moved to Fenerbahce.
The season was spent by Unix Kazan but left with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
This season in the Euroleague Brown scored 13.8 points per game and handed out 6.1 assists, second in the factory behind Nick Klatis.
One of his best games this season was at Yad Eliyahu, against Maccabi Tel Aviv, so he led Kazan to a 74:85 victory when he scored 26 points, collected 6 rebounds and gave up 6 assists.
Brown holds Spanish citizenship and may represent the local team at Eurobasket.
