The French defender, Pierre Corno, landed in Israel this morning (Wednesday) ahead of a signing with Maccabi Haifa.
As you may recall, his candidacy was first published on the "Israel Today" website.
Korno is scheduled to undergo medical tests, sign a contract and join training.
Haifa will buy his ticket from Oviedo for about $ 300,000 and his salary should be around the same amount.
Professional manager Gal Alberman has been following Korno for the past year and he has reached the last line as one of the leading candidates to come to strengthen the green staff.
