Germany's Florian Willbrook won the gold in the five-kilometre open water race at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The 26-year-old clocked a time of 52.48.80 minutes, ahead of silver medalist Gregorio Paltrinieri of Italy by 3.90 seconds, while the bronze went to Ukrainian Mikhailo Romashuk, who finished the race 25.10 seconds ahead of Germany.
Last Sunday, Willbrook won another gold with his country in the mixed relay race four times, 1500m 6 km in the open waters of Lake Balaton.
