Marco Odermatt won the overall World Cup, Olympic gold and the giant slalom classification.

He is now showing his fans how he is preparing for next season.

Stans - You can win almost everything there is to win - and that at just 24 years old?

The Swiss Marco Odermatt was the dominator of the past ski season.

The talent won the overall World Cup, which is the highest honor for many.

The most complete and consistent skier of the winter prevailed against the competition across all disciplines.

As if that wasn't enough for a winter sports year, he also impressed in the giant slalom at the Olympics.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, Odermatt won his first medal.

In the end, he was at the top of the podium in his favorite discipline, giant slalom.

He also took overall victory in the same discipline.

His 2021/2022 stats were stunning.

He was on the podium in every giant slalom race.

It is well known that nothing comes from nothing.

Odermatt will continue to work hard in the summer of 2022 to prepare for the coming winter.

Ski champion in Beijing and in the overall World Cup: Odermatt's hard preparation

The Swiss also posted impressive photos from the training session.

His four-part photo series begins with the two trophies for the overall and giant slalom world cup.

He writes: "I know why I'm training so hard at the moment".

Means: Odermatt's trophy cabinet still has one or two free spots.

And if you click through the series of pictures (on the white arrows), you will see the young champion's various forms of training.

Whether it's wired or a spade in the ear, there's always a lot of work behind success.

Odermatt regularly keeps his fans up to date. The drudgery from the gym should not be missing.

Ski season starts in October - Odermatt wants to defend its title

The new season starts on the weekend of 22/23.

October, two weeks after Odermatt's 25th birthday.

And the competition isn't sleeping with their preparations either, was Odermatt's training program enough to collect more titles?

Last year he even puzzled an ARD expert.

At the giant slalom on October 23rd in Sölden he can try to continue his fantastic series of podium finishes.

As one follower appropriately comments on Instagram: "You can see what's behind it and it's not 'just skiing'."

A German Olympic hero, on the other hand, has ended his career: the two-time Beijing winner Johannes Ludwig cut his tailbone while sliding in the summer.

Ski idol Viktoria Rebensburg, also retired, has a new hobby on Lake Tegernsee.
