The Syrian national boxing team player, Ahmed Ghosoun, qualified for the final round of the 75-kg weight competition in the Mediterranean tournament held in Oran, Algeria, after his victory in the semi-finals against French Fendor 3-0.
With this victory, Ghosoun secured the silver medal and qualified for the final to play for the gold medal against Algerian player Younes Nemouchi.
Ghosoun beat Serbian Mimic 2-1 in the first round, knowing that Ghosoun is the gold medalist of his weight in the previous edition of the Mediterranean tournament in Spain.
