Denmark, which traced its first cycle path in 1892 (and has more than 12,000 km of tracks) was one day to settle on the Tour de France carousel.

The presentation of the teams in the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen (24 big departure from abroad of the Grande Boucle) set the tone, on Wednesday under a complicit sun, when Jonas Vingegaard (2nd in the Tour last year and appearing among the favorites this year), overwhelmed by the cheers of his compatriots, searched in vain for words and had to be content, removing his mask, to offer broad smiles dressing a face carved with a sickle.

In a city painted in the colors of the Grande Boucle - from the streets to the shop windows, from the monuments to the balconies -, which has more bicycles than inhabitants (673,000 for 602,000 inhabitants), the Tour is expecting a spectacular bath crowds this Friday, the starting point for a breathtaking Danish triptych.
