TSV Wartenberg, like many other clubs, has not held a general meeting for years and has therefore not been able to award honours.
Wartenberg – Chairman Thomas Reischl now had the problem of having to cope with a very high number of awards at the annual general meeting.
"And it should be reasonably dignified," he formulated as a target.
That was also successful.
All names were read out, and if those honored had all been there, it would have been a real challenge for the press photographers present.
Three new honorary members were singled out: Klaus Loesch was active in the volleyball department for decades as a player, coach and department head.
Reischl named a total of 35 years.

Hannelore Schranner is one of the very active sponsors.
Reischl remarked that there were years when she equipped 150 footballers.
“An incredible number of jerseys” came from her.
According to the chairman's report, Ludwig Stürzl has made a name for himself as a youth coach, referee and last but not least as referee chairman for ten years.
In all three cases, the decision to appoint these deserving association members as honorary members was unanimous.
Then four members who have been with the association for a full 70 years were to be honored.
The chairman called it “quite unusual” that there were four at once.
They are Eduard Ertl, Maximilian Kammerer, Ludwig Steinberger and Matthias Obermeier.
