The BC Attaching footballers lost their first test match 2-1 against Ergolding.

Nevertheless, the coach was not dissatisfied.

Attaching

– The omens were different before BC Attaching's first test match against FC Ergolding.

Because while the district league promoted from Attaching went into a duel after only two, but very tough training sessions, Ergolding had already built up form for three weeks.

BCA coach Enes Mehmedovic was therefore not surprised that his team lost 2-1 (1-0) on Wednesday.

"They were just further along, you could tell," summed up the 40-year-old coach.

The Attachinger returned 32 days after their decisive promotion relegation second leg in Gaimersheim - no longer as a district, but as a district league.

In the starting eleven against the district league squad from Ergolding were ten footballers who had already worn the BCA jersey last season.

The only newcomer on the field was Jasko Hamzagic.

The 24-year-old midfielder came from TSV Allershausen, was allowed to show himself in the first 45 minutes and, according to coach Mehmedovic, made a "positive impression".

Domenic Hörmann nets for the BC Attaching

The first goal of the preparation was scored by someone who had scored like an assembly line last season: Domenic Hörmann gave the BCA the lead in the 36th minute.

"After the course of the game it was all right," said Mehmedovic.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The BCA coach made eight changes in the second half.

Among others, the young new signings Muhamed Hajric and Lorend Rexhepi, both from the SE Freising U19s who switched to Attaching, came onto the field.

"I tested players in positions they don't normally play," said Mehmedovic.

He stuck to his "classic 4-2-3-1 system".

The flow of the game suffered from the changes and the increasingly heavy legs.

In addition, there were simple ball losses.

Double strike decides the game

The opponent from Ergolding took advantage of this and turned the game around within three minutes with two goals from Rocco Schmidleitner (69th/72nd).

The Attachingers had no answer ready for the double strike of the guests.

Mehmedovic could live with that.

“There were guys who got their first experience in men's football today.

You have to get used to the pace first.

I've drawn my own conclusions and I'm happy with what I've seen," the coach summed up.

On Sunday (4 p.m.) the Attachingers will be back in action.

Then it's off to TSV Ergoldsbach, which like FC Ergolding plays in the Niederbayern West district league.
