Klosterstadion instead of Olympiastadion.
That was the big plan before Türkgücü Munich.
In the end, the regional league became the victim of a local posse.
A comment.
Again there is a dispute about Türkgücü Munich.
Nothing new?
Not quite.
This time, Türkgücü actually appears as the alleged innocent lamb in a local farce that is second to none.
What is meant are the SC Fürstenfeldbruck and the city of Fürstenfeldbruck, in the main SCF boss Jakob Ettner and Mayor Erich Raff.
It has been clear for two months that Türkgücü Munich wants to play alternative games in the monastery stadium in Fürstenfeldbruck for its regional league plans.
The agreement between the clubs came quickly, but then the city quickly intervened.
She is the owner of the monastery stadium and the SCF is only a tenant.
The user agreement between the parties came into focus.
Türkgücü Munich: In the end, all the demands in Fürstenfeldbruck are just a farce
Ettner was certain that the city's approval was not required.
Raff saw it differently.
Ettner and Raff don't like each other.
The origin of the conflict goes back so far that it should actually be irrelevant for the Munich ex-professional club.
But he wasn't.
The city of Fürstenfeldbruck kept discovering new defects that had to be remedied.
One might think that the SCF opponents in the city council wanted to prevent the district league team from earning money from the Türkgücü home games.
Missing guest cage, breakwater, new noise report, unclear stadium and security concept - the list of why the signing of the user contract with Türkgücü was not done grew longer and longer.
Many things were not required by the BFV at all.
In the end, it all comes across as part of a sham negotiation.
Because in the end the project failed on a rather banal point: the simple consent of the city council to the subletting, behind which Lord Mayor Raff is hiding.
True to the motto: 'We did everything for it, but the majority didn't want to.'
The sometimes abstruse demands of the last two months show that this is not entirely true.
Türkgücü Munich: Often rightly criticized, but not this time
However, it would be wrong to attach everything to the mayor.
The vote by the city council shows that Raff was not the only one who felt that Ettner had stepped on his toes.
One or the other dignitary found his demeanor too loud and forceful.
And Türkgücü?
The general observer still associates the club with the club, which despite its arrogant and self-satisfied appearance always feels disadvantaged.
And this season, too, the aggressive appearance on the transfer market after bankruptcy is not well received everywhere.
All points that are rightly criticized.
But when it came to the stadium, the new management level around Akkay was not without mistakes, but there is little to blame.
He's just looking for a second chance.
But this was not possible in Fürstenfeldbruck from the start.
