French defender Pierre Corno signed with Maccabi Haifa today, leaving the Spanish Oviedo team.
But even before he officially joined the team from Carmel, the team's fans photographed him in the team uniform during the medical tests, and caused a stir - when the Spanish team uploaded the photo to its official account, criticizing the fact that the player is still under its ranks.
Corno addressed the issue in an interview in Spain: "When they saw that I wanted to leave, they gave permission to Maccabi Haifa to manage Moshe and Matan with me, and only after they reached an agreement, I went to Haifa to do medical tests at a hospital. "That's what started the commotion. Malicious people started insulting me on social media."
The defender continued "I was most surprised by the reaction of the person in charge of Oviedo's social networks after seeing my picture. Their reaction saddened me very much. "Or fans. I wish you a lot of success in the future."
