A new challenge awaits Syrian athletics star Majd El-Din Ghazal today at 8:00 pm Damascus time in the high jump competition in the Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria.
The declared goal of Ghazal is to maintain his title as the champion of the competition in the previous session, which was held in the “Spanish Tarragona 2018”, but with greater challenges in Oran 2022, where the participation list includes strong European competitors, led by the Italian Marco with the number 233 cm, the Turkish Albern 230 cm, the Cypriot Vassilius 228 cm and the French Nathan 226 cm Bastine 223 cm.
In a press statement, Ghazal confirmed his readiness to defend his title, despite the presence of important champions from the rising names who were perfectly prepared and are currently in the process of improving their numbers, pointing out that he is making every effort to bring joy to the hearts of Syrians.
