For a while it was on the air and today (Friday) it became official.
Tal Ben Haim left Maccabi Tel Aviv and signed with Maccabi Petah Tikva.
The striker, who reached a second term with the Yellows two years ago, joins the club where he made his first steps in the seniors and was relegated to the National League last season.
Ben Haim, 32, played last season for Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he scored 5 goals in 23 appearances, and ended his contract after not being in the plans of the new-old coach, Vladimir Ivitch.
"I return home with great joy, in order to return Maccabi Petah Tikva to its natural place in the Premier League," Ben Haim said after the signing.
