There is a new one under the sun.
FIFA announced today (Friday) special, semi-automatic technological innovations that are expected to be used at the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In fact, the purpose of the innovations will be to help the existing VAR system and the referees on the pitch, identify differences at a higher speed that may put an end to the large delays that are often caused as a result of checking events on screens.
First, a special sensor will be inserted into the game ball and will detect the moment of delivery or kick of the player.
It should not interfere with the player or affect the weight of the ball.
In addition, the stadiums will be inherited by 12 special cameras each, and will be responsible for tracking the same ball and no less than 29 points in the bodies of the players.

The data collected will be processed in real time by artificial intelligence.
The 29 points are the same points in the body that often provoke controversy in the examination of differences, even after the introduction of the VAR system for use in the previous World Cup in Russia, in 2018.
