A day before the sum closed, the sailors managed to raise only 91 percent of it, and the one who enlisted to help them, is the Olympic champion in surfing, Gal Friedman.
The coach of the men's team in the foil model, posted a post asking to help and indeed within hours, they reached their destination and even more.
Abu told "Israel Today": "We thank everyone who supported the project, it helps a lot and together we managed to raise the amount and we will start training and competing in Europe. During the last few months we have been training for a training camp in Italy And Eli Reuveni will compete.
"However, spending on revenues is large and is expected to grow further during the year but we are on the wave on the way to Paris 2024 and fulfilling our dream of representing Israel at the Olympics."
