Milan announced the renewal of the contract of Paolo Maldini, technical director of the club, for two years.
"AC Milan is pleased to announce the renewal of the contracts of technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara for an additional two years," Milan said in an official statement. "This renewal highlights the importance of the club's continued growth at all levels."
This comes at a time when Maldini's contract with Milan was supposed to expire yesterday, but the two parties managed to reach an agreement after several press reports said that the former Milan star was on his way to leave the club.
