Even if there are only eight riders per team, participation in the Tour de France requires precise organization to manage the supply of equipment and food.

Since Friday in Denmark, the twenty-two members of the Cofidis team have been taking great care to pamper the eight riders of the French formation.

A total dedication which will last until July 24 and the arrival at the Champs-Élysées, imposing on the troops of Cédric Vasseur a flawless organization in logistics.

Nutrition, equipment, clothing, no aspect is overlooked.

A total of 12 vehicles are mobilized for three weeks.

A part is dedicated to food which is the subject of a daily supply for certain fresh products.

The team's nutritionist has planned to distribute 2500 energy bars and gels to the runners who will swallow 150 sticks and use 3000 cans of 55 cl of water (50 liters of water swallowed during a stage) throughout the 3300 kilometers of the 2022 route.

Like the eight riders, the bikes also receive special attention.

40 road bikes, to which must be added those dedicated solely to time trials, are cleaned and adjusted daily by four mechanics working with a workshop truck and a van in addition.

80 spare hoses are planned, as well as 70 pairs of wheels including 20 new ones for a total of 1800 inflated wheels over three weeks!

In the event of breakage, a dozen spare frames are waiting in storage.

If the athletes only wear one jersey per stage, the lingerie service will not be idle until Paris.

Two washing machines and a dryer accompany the training throughout the event.

40 jerseys are still enough to dress the convicts of the road who will have at their disposal 200 haversacks intended for supplies.

Guillaume Martin and his teammates will also each have a spare helmet and around fifteen caps for the ceremonial podiums that they hope to collect until the finish in Paris.
