Athletics: Meba-Mickaël Zeze, fourth Frenchman in history under 10 seconds in the 100m

The French sprinter established very good performances in the 100 and 200m at La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.

At the La Chaux-de-Fonds meeting in Switzerland, Meba-Mickaël Zeze shone and entered the history of French athletics.

And Meba-Mickaël Zeze did not only mark the spirits on the queen event.

An hour later, he also struck a blow over 200m, setting a time of 19″97.

He thus became the second Frenchman to go below the 20-second mark after Christophe Lemaitre (19″80).

Despite his very good time, he finished second in the race behind the Cuban, Reynier Mena (19 sec 63).

Selected in the 4x100m for the Eugene Worlds

Not selected for the 100m and 200m at the Eugene Worlds (United States), the Frenchman will still be present for the 4x100m relay.

He could help the Blues to win a medal in this category.
