Coach Ophir Haim said: "We did something amazing, but I'm a little disappointed we did not bring the trophy. I'm happy for everyone for the tremendous achievement, happy for my father who is sitting here today. All his life he chased after me to be a player, he did not think I would be a coach, just "I want to make him happy. The players have entered my heart, I'm sure they feel it. Our way is my great pride. We played great football, I told the players they are no less good than anyone else and I felt they believed in it."
Captain Eli Madmon: "It is a great privilege to be a part of this amazing thing, proud to say that I am the captain of the European runner-up. Of course we wanted to do everything to be European champions and it was not enough, but I am proud of who is here. "He's also a friend of each of the players. He knows how to touch the heart, it's beyond the tactical side. He deserves all the success and the warm words, he does an amazing job."
