Arrival of the fifth:
4 - 11 - 13 - 15 - 7
"In handicaps, everything has to go well..." What may be a cliché, repeated by many professionals, was not one this Sunday, because the winner almost never could be launched .
Forty-five minutes before the important Saint-Cloud Grand Prix,
Panjaman
(No. 4) thus won the race most prized by racegoers, namely the quinté.
And this is not a first for the resident of Stéphane Cérulis since he had already won at this level in July 2021 at the Chantilly racecourse.
Off to a good start, he was able to wait in the wake of the leaders but, stuck on the rope side, he took a long time to find the way.
Once launched shortly after the mid-straight, he responded perfectly to the requests of his jockey, Aurélien Lemaître, to win in extremis at the expense of
Baden Rocks
(No. 11), good string-side finisher.
"I couldn't start it at the start of the straight, but it wasn't so bad in the end," confides the winning driver.
He likes to come on others and once started I was sure of my fact.
He is a chic horse who is now back in great shape.

Long in last position,
Flyingbeauty
(n°13) made a very nice straight line and a remarkable comeback at the same time.
He completes the podium by coming to see
Combermere
(n° 15), the favourite, who confirms his current good dispositions, and
Srifanelogreen
(n° 7), who is fully rehabilitated.
