On Saturday, Fabio Jakobsen (Quick-Step) won the sprint and the next day, it was Dylan Groenewegen (Bike-Exchange) who raised his arms.
Here are therefore linked to the winners of the Tour these two Dutchmen whose names had already, for their misfortune, been tangled in a terrible din of terror and blood on August 5, 2020 on the Tour of Poland.
During the sprint, Groenewegen, then with Jumbo-Visma, had packed Jakobsen, at 85 km / h, against the barriers which had given way in the shock.
Jakobsen had finished with his face destroyed and his jaw ragged.
