Tour de France: shame, suspension, death threats ... Groenewegen, the redemption of a peloton executioner


Two years after causing a terrible accident which seriously injured Fabio Jakobsen, winner on Saturday, Dylan Groenewegen won

On Saturday, Fabio Jakobsen (Quick-Step) won the sprint and the next day, it was Dylan Groenewegen (Bike-Exchange) who raised his arms.

During the sprint, Groenewegen, then with Jumbo-Visma, had packed Jakobsen, at 85 km / h, against the barriers which had given way in the shock.

Jakobsen had finished with his face destroyed and his jaw ragged.
