The summer torch club is an opportunity to discover talents and raw materials in the football and handball games to be a nucleus for the establishment of auxiliary teams for the higher categories in the club.
Club director Haitham Al-Ali explained to SANA that the sports activities within the club vary between handball, football and other sports, in addition to holding recreational trips and weekly swimming lessons, pointing out that the club includes 65 boys and girls and is supervised by trainers specialized in each game separately.
Al-Ali pointed out that the summer club teaches its children a lot of skills that help them develop their personality and raise psychological pressure on them through sports programs that combine fun and benefit, stressing that the participation of children in various activities and various exercises will allow coaches to discover talents that are refined and benefited from in the future.
The football coach in the club, Walid Al-Ali, believes that the club’s goal, especially in the game of football, is to establish a team that, after being trained according to correct foundations, can participate in competitions, whether at the governorate level or at the country level, while the handball coach Rami Al-Jahmani said that he is optimistic about a number of children. Who can turn them into outstanding players.
In turn, some of the players in the club confirmed that their participation allows them to spend useful time learning the basics of football and handball and unleash their energies in an optimal and correct manner.
It is noteworthy that the summer club started in mid-June and will continue until early August.
