They need 40 million euros to maintain themselves, to save the situation.

For three weeks, the Girondins have been trying to find the sum necessary to stay in Ligue 2. Debted to the tune of 52 million euros, Bordeaux was relegated to National by the DNCG, after finishing last in Ligue 1 in the month of may.

His appeal to this decision will be examined this Tuesday by the financial policeman of French football, from 2:30 p.m.

The president of the club, Gérard Lopez, therefore endeavored to seek an agreement with his creditors, holders of the Bordeaux debt, to find the essential 40 million euros.

"It was a roller coaster but it's signed" assures a relative of the businessman, confident that an agreement has been reached with American creditors Kings and Fortress.

Gérard Lopez will still have to put his hand in his pocket to the tune of 10 million euros via his company Joga Bonito.

The operations were "validated by an auditor" according to his entourage, relieved.

This Tuesday, the DNCG could therefore reinstall Bordeaux in Ligue 2 if these new parts are accepted.

In the event of refusal, the Girondins risk filing for bankruptcy and judicial liquidation, synonymous with a return to National 3 (5th division).
