We have to go back to the genesis of business, 3x3 basketball has existed in regular form since 2010. It appeared at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and the International Federation has not stopped developing it to arrive in June 2017 to integrate it into the Olympic programme.
The real legitimacy of 3x3 basketball comes from this integration.
