The achievements of the Syrian national athletics team players in the West Asian Athletics Championships for males and females, held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, continue.
At the end of the second day's competitions, Naya Abbas won the gold in the 800-meter race, and Elissar Youssef won the gold in the 100-meter hurdles.
Our team had won two medals in the 5000m walking competitions, where Ramia Shaaban won the gold medal, while Sidra Shehadeh won the silver medal.
Our team had won the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles yesterday through the player Aya Al-Rahiya, and in the javelin throwing competition, the player Aya Asbar won the silver medal.
Our team also won two gold and silver medals through the players Saddam Al-Nams and Youssef Albi in the 10 km walking race.
