unstoppable.
Nick Kirius advanced last night (Monday) to the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon tournament and for the first time since 2015 will take part in the Grand Slam at this point, but once again chose to steal the show in a way reserved only for him.
Immediately after the victory over the surprising American Brandon Nakshima, the Australian wore a red hat and even changed his white shoes into a red pair.
Of course this is a blatant violation of the Wimbledon dress code, according to which players are required to wear white clothing from head to toe.
"I do what I want," Kirius said at the post-match press conference in response to the question of why he wore red clothes.
"I'm not over the law, I just love my Jordan shoes," Kirius continued to joke, of course while still wearing the items that express great contempt for the tournament organizers.

On the way to another fine?
In response to the storms he continues to stir around him, the Australian replied: "I get more attention like that. Any publicity is good, isn't it?".
Kirius, who has already been fined twice only in the current tournament after spitting at English fans and in the previous round clashed with Greek side Stefanos Tsitsipas, is expected to suffer another fine - which as it seems at the moment, really does not move him to accept.
🗣 "Any publicity is good publicity, right?"
Nick Kyrgios was not taking the bait when asked about his attire at #Wimbledon.
