"There must be a black cat on the bus": on the Tour de France, the Cofidis curse has lasted fourteen years

Fourteen years ago, the 2008 Tour turned out to be a complete success for the northern team Cofidis.

With two nice stage successes thanks to Samuel Dumoulin and Sylvain Chavanel, the champagne could flow freely.

But, since then, the bottles remain wisely in the fridges.

Despite its 11 million euro budget, no Cofidis rider has raised his arms on the Tour.

A curse that follows that of the French Championships where the team founded in 1996 has never been able to win the slightest tricolor jersey.
