All 20 regional leagues admitted - Türkgücü faces high costs in the Olympic Stadium

After a long back and forth, one thing is certain: Türkgücü Munich will play in the Bavarian regional league next season.

The Bavarian Football Association has approved all 20 clubs for the upcoming regional league season - including Türkgücü Munich.

Munich – The news was eagerly awaited, but now it is clear: all 20 sportingly qualified clubs will be approved for the coming regional league season.

This was announced by the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) in a press release.

"The examination by the commission chaired by Treasurer Jürgen Faltbacher has led to positive results," it says.

Türkgücü Munich receives regional league admission only under conditions - stadium search comes to an end late

Previously, some clubs had only received admission under certain conditions, including Türkgücü Munich.

The Perlachers have only received approval for the Grünwalder stadium for twelve of their home games.

An alternative location was therefore necessary for all other games.

After a long back and forth, including cancellations from Fürstenfeldbruck and Lohhof, there was a surprising turn of events on Tuesday.

Türkgücü Munich will also play in the Munich Olympic Stadium in the coming season.

The club played in the venerable venue back in the third division.

But now there are high costs for the relegated team.

According to information from Münchner Merkur and Fußball Vorort/FuPa Oberbayern, the expenses for the Olympic Stadium in the 3rd division were 25,000 euros per game.

In the regional league, the sum will probably be lower, but the venue is still not a bargain.

BFV postpones set-up deadline - league start on 14.7.

For the clubs around Türkgücü Munich, there is finally clarity after the official announcement by the BFV.

The deadline for submitting all the necessary documents had already been pushed back.

The clubs had to present the documents by Tuesday at 12 noon.

The association does not release any further information.

"With regard to the details of the admission procedure and the participation rights that have now been granted, the communication sovereignty lies with the clubs," the statement continued.

The new season starts with the game between TSV Buchbach and SpVgg Unterhaching on Thursday, July 14, at 7 p.m. in the SMR Arena.

Türkgücü is a guest at SV Heimstetten on the following Saturday.

According to the schedule, the last day of the season is Saturday, May 27, 2023.
