The Israeli women's handball team up to the age of 19 achieved a second victory tonight (Tuesday) at the European Championships held at the Wingate Institute in Netanya, after defeating strong Serbia at 10:13.
The blue and whites, under the guidance of coach Dmitry from Brutas, started the first quarter great, leading with 1: 5, and despite a close second quarter, Israel went down to the half with 4: 8.
In the second half, Serbia still tried to return to the game and also took the last quarter, but that did not prevent the victory.

The one who excelled in the team that received massive encouragement from fans, is Dr. Mankerman with four goals, while Alma Yaakov added 3 and Tahal Levy, Dina Namkatensky and captain Noa Sassover added 2 goals each.

It was Israel's second victory, after on the opening day Israel defeated Romania, when tomorrow Israel will meet Turkey and finish the home stage against the Spanish team, apparently in a direct battle for the home presidency, to get a comfortable draw for the next round.
