The Israeli women's team in Lacrosse tonight (Monday to Tuesday) defeated the Netherlands 5: 9 at the World Championships in the United States and advanced to the quarterfinals, after finishing the home stage with a perfect balance.
Despite the close first quarter, which ended in a 1: 1 result, the Blue and Whites took control of the game in the second quarter, where they scored three goals, and went down to the half with a 1: 4 advantage.
From here to the end the Dutch could not get close.
The star of the game was Eli Steinberg Bernard with four goals (out of six attempts).
It was the fourth consecutive victory for Israel, which as mentioned finished the home stage in first place without a loss, as did the teams of the USA, New Zealand and Japan.
In the next stage, in the quarterfinals, Israel will meet Mexico, which finished second in House F. If it wins, Israel will meet the winner between England and Wales in the quarterfinals.
