The Maccabi Tel Aviv coach summed up the training camp in the Netherlands: "We need to keep some of the players at this stage. We need to go back and prepare ourselves for the first official game against Netanya"

Tonight (Tuesday), Maccabi Tel Aviv held its third and final preparation game at the training camp in the Netherlands.

Vladimir Ivic's players met Lokomotiva Zagreb, who finished last year in 8th place in the Croatian league, and won 0: 3 thanks to goals from Georgia Juvanovic, Enrique Sborit and Stipa Fritza.

"Every time you start the pre-season you first try to understand the quality of the players, what is the best method for the team and work on it," said the Serbian coach when concluding the training camp. Heavily, we try to do our best and they work hard.

"We started about a month before our first European game and we need to protect some of the players in this part of the season. All of these things are in our head to prepare them for the first games."

The coach added: "To a better coach if he knows the mentality of the team, players in the team, the structure of the club and the goals but obviously I do not think about the past but about now, tomorrow and the future. We have a lot of work, we need to improve in all parts of the game .
