Spain in the 2022 Women's Euro Cup: where to watch the national team's matches

The women's European Championship begins this Wednesday in England and the Spanish team starts as one of the candidates to win the continental title, which would be the first in the history of the women's team.

Jorge Vilda's team has several of the best players in the world, especially Alexia Putellas, winner of the Ballon d'Or in 2021. After a few weeks of preparation and a couple of warm-up friendly matches against Australia (7-0) and Italy (1-1), the team faces the tournament that will begin with a tough group stage.

Spain has been framed in group B along with Germany, Denmark and Finland.

The Germans are historically the most powerful team in Europe, winners of 8 of the last 10 European Championships, and the Danes were finalists in the last edition, in 2017.

The European Championship will raise the curtain next Wednesday with the match between England and Austria at Old Trafford, but the Spanish team will not be released until Friday.

Jorge Vilda's men will make their debut against Finland, the most affordable rival in the group in principle, at the MK Stadium, with a capacity for 30,000 spectators.

Then it will be Germany's turn and they will close the group stage against Denmark.

  : first match of the group stage.

• Germany - Spain

  : second match of the group stage.

  Tuesday, July 12 at 9:00 p.m. at the Brentford Community Stadium (London).

• Denmark - Spain

  : third and last match of the group stage.

  Saturday July 16 at 9:00 p.m. at Brentford Community Stadium.

• Quarter Finals

  : Should Spain finish first in their group, on Thursday 21 July at 9pm at the Brentford Community Stadium.

  In the event that Spain finish second in their group, on Wednesday, July 20 at 9:00 p.m. at the Brighton & Hove Community Stadium (Brighton).

• Semifinals

  : Tuesday, July 26 at 9:00 p.m. at Bramall Lane Stadium (Sheffield).

• Final

  : Sunday, July 31 at 6:00 p.m. at Wembley Stadium (London).

RTVE will broadcast the entire tournament for Spain and America.

The matches in Spain will be televised on TVE and some of the most important ones will be offered on Teledeporte.
