Basketball: Sergio Yui has extended his contract at Real Madrid Israel today

The great symbol continues.

Real Madrid announced today (Wednesday) the extension of Sergio Yui's contract for another two years.

The 34-year-old guard, who joined the team in 2007, is due to complete 18 seasons at the club at the end of his contract.

This season Real won the championship and reached the Euroleague final, and the guard proved that he is still very significant.

During his career at Blancos he has won the Euroleague twice, seven times in the Spanish Championship and six times in the Cup.

He is ranked fifth in Euroleague points and sixth in assists.

Yui has played 8 times in the Final Four.

Earlier this week, Real made a significant change in the coaching position, announcing the end of Pablo Lasso's role after 11 years at the club.

He will be replaced by his assistant for the past eight years, Chos Matthew, who has signed for two years.
