- BC Attaching traveled to the test match at TSV Ergoldsbach without the complete back four and other established players.
Nevertheless, the promoted team won the duel between the two district league teams 3:2.
Deserved, as coach Enes Mehmedovic put it, because "we were totally superior in the first half".
Mehmedovic had to rebuild his starting eleven due to numerous failures.
That's how assistant coach Stephan Fürst started in central defense – without a training session – and Cenk Toprak.
Returnee Toprak has kicked in the district class at most in the past seven seasons.
"But you did really well.
In general, I really liked the first half,” reports Mehmedovic, because Attaching set the pace.
Patrick Huljina (10th) and Mathias Staudigl (40th) used two of the four top-class players to take a 2-0 lead at the break.
Before the second 45 minutes, Mehmedovic made six changes.
Among other things, striker Domenic Hörmann slipped into central defense for Toprak.
Order suffered from the changes: "From the 46th to the 75th minute we swam in phases."
Ergoldsbach, fourth in the Lower Bavarian District League West last season, used this phase of weakness, equalized through Matthias Schindlbeck (69th) and Martin Stoller (74th) and even had the chance to take the lead before Attaching recovered.
And because Pascal Paringer did everything right in the 84th minute, the BCA was able to celebrate its first win in a friendly.
The next preparatory game against SV Vötting is on Sunday at 3 p.m.
