BVB takes Haller as Haaland's successor

The transfer of top scorer Sébastien Haller to Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund has now been formally completed.

As confirmed by BVB on Wednesday, the 28-year-old Ivorian will receive a contract until June 30, 2026. Haller had already completed the medical check-up on June 23, but his listed ex-club Ajax Amsterdam apparently asked to make the change only from June 2026 To be announced on July 1st so that the transfer can be booked in the new financial year.

According to information from various media, the transfer fee is 31 million euros plus bonus payments.

Haller is one of the most expensive footballers in club history.

Witsel joins Atlético

The Belgian international Axel Witsel will play for Atlético Madrid after leaving Borussia Dortmund.

The Spanish first division club announced the commitment of the 33-year-old for the coming season.

Witsel's contract with BVB expired this summer.

Relegated Bielefeld gets Austrian Kanuric

Arminia Bielefeld has signed the Austrian junior international Benjamin Kanuric.
